America is a set of beliefs.
America is an idea, a profound notion that all people are created equal and have fundamental rights, such as liberty, free speech and freedom of religion.
The primary responsibility of every American who holds those beliefs is to ensure that they are embraced, practiced, and defended. Everything else, including the economy, comes second.
Principle before profit. Conviction before comfort. It's what birthed this great nation. And it's what will keep her beautiful and vibrant.
