Your talk was terrific. Most of what i do involves road races and triathlons, etc. We always talk about how it's more than a race--it's an experience. and for some, they are living out their passion or their dream when they cross the finish line. that's what we offer people...the intangible...the feeling they get when they're done.
i think that's why our industry is enjoying a boom like never before. in this economy and this world people want to feel good...and a great event does that for people.
always something new to learn and bring to my work...thanks so much for bringing some focus to what i might want to think about as I sit down to work now, inspired by the last 40 minutes.
keep doing what you're doing.
