I hope so.
"The truth is that our finest moments are most likely to occur when we are feeling deeply uncomfortable, unhappy, or unfulfilled. For it is only in such moments, propelled by our discomfort, that we are likely to step out of our ruts and start searching for different ways or truer answers." - M. Scott Peck

Shades of the notion of "Creative tension." It's only when we come to recognize and appreciate the difference between where we are and where we want to be that we get motivated to do something about it. In the absence of that "pull," nothing happens. We wonder aimlessly. Maybe we get lucky, but that luck isn't consistent or even predictable.

Hey, Tom. I would just like to share a somewhat similar quote that a friend of mine emailed me a while back.
Being happy doesn't mean that everything is perfect. It means that you've decided to look beyond the imperfections.
Keep those posts coming!

Ha! Just this post is making me feel uncomfortable—it's making me ask myself what I should be feeling uncomfortable about that I'm not already. Nice kick in the pants Tom.
